Dorian Duda, LL.M.
Specializations:I am an attorney advising foreign corporate clients. I specialize in corporate law, compliance and data protection. I hold the Approved Compliance Officer certification.
Although I usually advise clients coming from different legal cultures (I speak German, English as well as Spanish and Russian), the German market is closest to me. I completed my legal studies at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, earning three degrees, thanks to which I am comfortable with the two legal orders and have an excellent understanding of the needs of German-speaking clients.
You can also find me on the list of trusted lawyers of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Wroclaw.
I gained experience at a well-established Wroclaw law firm, where I specialized in serving companies with foreign stakeholders, advising on corporate, labor, privacy and regulatory compliance aspects. Later, as its partner, I was also responsible for financial policy, client care and the Legal Ops area (including implementation of innovative solutions to facilitate work).
I am a member of the board of directors of the Polish-German business association “Europa Forum,” where, acting pro bono, I am responsible for corporate and legal issues. I have also written several Polish-German scholarly publications on comparative law, and I have been a scholarship recipient of, among others, the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and a recipient of the DAAD prize awarded for outstanding achievements of foreign students at German universities.
On a day-to-day basis, I serve as compliance officer and in-house lawyer at Toggl, an Estonian provider of IT solutions for time tracking, project management, and smart recruiting.
After hours, you can most often find me in the pool, on the road, or on the trails: I have been training for a long-distance triathlon for many years and have managed to stand on the podium in my age category several times.
