DATA CONTROLLER

The controller of the data of:

  1. all persons who visit and use the website www.dotlaw.co;
  2. all persons who follow the dotlaw fanpage on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media;

is dotlaw Skrzywanek Stępniowski i Wspólnicy sp. k., with its registered office in Wrocław (50-060) at pl. Solny 2/3, entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register by the District Court for Wrocław Fabryczna in Wrocław, 6th Commercial Division of the National Court Register (KRS) under the number: 0000859963, NIP number: 8971884477, and REGON number: 387240187; email: contact@dotlaw.co, (“dotlaw”).

We process personal data for the following purposes:

1. persons who visit and use the dotlaw website:

  • ensuring the proper technical functioning of our website (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
  • responding to inquiries and requests for proposals received (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
  • profiling for the purpose of analyzing statistics on the use of the dotlaw website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing your personal data is necessary to use our website and to respond to your inquiry.

2. persons who follow the dotlaw fanpage on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media:

  • promoting our products and services and building a positive image of dotlaw (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
  • responding to product and offer inquiries received (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing your personal data is necessary to follow our social media profiles and to respond to your inquiry.

In the case of:

  1. persons who visit and use the dotlaw website and choose to contact us, we process: your email address and the content of the message you send us;
  2. persons who follow the dotlaw fanpage on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media, we process: first name, last name, image (profile photo), the identifier associated with the social media platform, and email address;

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

We store the personal data we collect for the following periods:

1. persons who visit and use the dotlaw website

  • for a period of 5 years from the time of your visit to our website;
  • if you choose to contact us, we will delete the personal data you provide in the contact form promptly after your matter has been resolved.

2. persons who follow the dotlaw fanpage on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media:

  • for as long as you remain a follower of our fanpage.

TO WHOM MAY WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We may disclose your personal data to:

1. persons who visit and use the dotlaw website:

  • providers of IT services and systems that we use to operate our website and analyze statistics;
  • legal advisors and consultants serving dotlaw, to the extent that disclosure of the data is necessary to use their services;

2. persons who follow the dotlaw fanpage on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media:

  • operators of social media platforms;
  • providers of IT services and systems that we use to operate our website;

We do not transfer your personal data to entities located outside the European Economic Area.

YOUR RIGHTS

Every person whose data is processed by dotlaw has the right to:

  • request access to their personal data,
  • rectification, erasure, or restriction of the processing of their personal data;
  • to the extent that personal data is processed for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by dotlaw (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): the right to object to the processing of personal data;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Warsaw.

AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING

We do not use any information you provide for the purposes of automated decision-making.

GOOGLE PAGE INSIGHTS

We use the Page Insights feature provided by Google. Page Insights is a feature that allows us to view aggregated and anonymous data about the users of our fanpage and to understand the actions taken by those who visit it. We process the data within the Page Insights feature as a joint controller together with Google Ireland Limited. COOKIES

On our dotlaw website we use cookie technology (“cookies”) and similar technologies (e.g. pixel tags).

Cookies are small packets of information saved on end devices, usually containing the address of the service, the date they were placed, the expiration date, a unique number, and additional information consistent with the purpose of the given file.

The cookies we use can be divided into 2 categories:
